The Stay is All about YOU!

About Us

In December of 2008 the brickhouse came up for sale and we were fortunate to be able to buy it and have it back in the family.

About 100 years ago the farm belonged to Eric’s great grandparents CJ and Karen Christensen.

There are more pictures on the photo gallery of the farm and family taken years ago.

Eric and Julie both work at Polaris and between the two of them have over 30 years of employment at Polaris. They have 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Eric also farms and Julie has a gift shop in an old granary called “The Topless Silo” at their home across from The Brickhouse. Eric’s passion is farming and Julie’s is decorating so between the two of them they are fulfilling their dream of owning a beautiful old farm house for family farm vacations.

The property also has a wonderful barn for holding large family gatherings. The home has a very warm comfortable feel to it that will surely give you a welcome home feeling. It is a nice place to get together with friends and family. It is also a comfortable home for holding small venues for scrapbooking, knitting or quilting. If you need a place for graduation open houses or family reunions this farm offers you great accommodations to host those gatherings.

When is the last time you walked through a corn field or fed a calf?

Come to the country to experience the life.
